Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM E. (BILL) McKINNON Peacefully in Ottawa, Tuesday, July 16, 2002, with family by his side, Bill McKinnon, aged 84. Beloved husband of the late May Sauve and cherished father of Yvonne of Toronto, Lloyd (Darlene) and Gordon (Judy) of Ottawa. Bill will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren, great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Lloyd, Watson and Austin; and sisters, Teresa Cox, Mary England and Elsie Rodgers. Bill worked for the T. Eaton Company in Winnipeg and later joined the Royal Canadian Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant. Following the war, he joined the Unemployment Insurance Commission in Winnipeg and was transferred to Ottawa in 1958. He remained with UIC until retirement. A celebration of Bills life was held Thursday, July 18, in the Chapel of the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave., Ottawa, ON K2B 7G3 (613-235-6712). In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Chapter of the Alzheimer Society, 1750 Russell Rd., Ottawa, ON K1Z 9Z9 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
